A group health plan shall reimburse a participating provider that is a certified pharmacist clinician or pharmacist certified to provide a prescriptive authority service who provides a service at the standard contracted rate that the group health plan reimburses, for the same service under that group health plan, any licensed physician or physician assistant licensed pursuant to the Medical Practice Act [Chapter 61, Article 6 NMSA 1978] or the Osteopathic Medicine Act [Chapter 61, Article 10 NMSA 1978] or any advanced practice certified nurse practitioner licensed pursuant to the Nursing Practice Act [Chapter 61, Article 3 NMSA 1978].

ANNOTATIONS

Effective dates. — Laws 2020, ch. 58 contained no effective date provision, but, pursuant to N.M. Const., art. IV, § 23, was effective May 20, 2020, 90 days after adjournment of the legislature.
