A violation of this chapter by a person unlawfully representing himself or herself as a social worker may be enjoined by a district court on petition by the Board. In any such proceeding it is not necessary to show that any person is individually injured. If the respondent is found guilty of misrepresenting himself or herself as a social worker, the court shall enjoin the respondent from such representations unless and until the respondent has been licensed. The procedure in such proceedings must be the same as for any other application for an injunction. The remedy of an injunction is in addition to any applicable criminal prosecution and punishment.
