Notwithstanding the provisions of chapter 622A of NRS, if the Board, a panel of its members or a hearing officer issues an order suspending the license of a psychologist or the registration of a psychological assistant, psychological intern or psychological trainee pending proceedings for disciplinary action and requires the psychologist, psychological assistant, psychological intern or psychological trainee to submit to a mental or physical examination or an examination of his or her competency to practice psychology or to practice as a psychological assistant, psychological intern or psychological trainee, the examination must be conducted and the results obtained within 60 days after the Board, panel of its members or hearing officer issues the order.
