"Joint mobilization" defined.

"Joint mobilization" means a learned, skilled, passive movement of articulating surfaces of a person to relieve pain and restore functional movement of the articulating surfaces without pain to the person. The term does not include:

1. The diagnosis of a physical disability;

2. The massaging of the superficial soft tissues of the body;

3. The use of X-rays or radium;

4. The use of electricity for cauterization or surgery;

5. Chiropractic adjustment as defined in NRS 634.014; or

6. Grade 5 joint mobilization.
