As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires:
1. "Board" means the State Board of Podiatry.
2. "Podiatry" is the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of ailments of the human foot and leg.
3. "Podiatry hygienist" means a person engaged in assisting a podiatric physician.
