It is the duty of all public officers, their deputies, assistants, clerks, subordinates or employees, to render and furnish to the Attorney General, his or her deputy or other designated representative, when so requested, all the information and assistance in their possession or within their power relating to investigations carried out under the provisions of this chapter.
