The state’s standard measure, or pipette, shall have a capacity of 17.6 cubic centimeters, and the standard test tubes or bottles for milk shall have a capacity of 1 cubic centimeter of mercury at a temperature of 65° F. between "zero" and "five" on the graduated scale on the neck thereof; the scale to have a length of not less than 6.5 millimeters for each percent, or 6.5 centimeters between "zero" and "ten" on the graduated scale on the neck thereof, the scale to be graduated to at least two-tenths of 1 percent. The milk fat in the neck of the bottle shall be read from the lower line separation between the fat and the water to the top of the fat column at a temperature not lower than 130° F. and not higher than 140° F.
