- Certain motor carriers required to submit registration and renewal documents to Motor Carrier Division of Department. An applicant for the registration or renewal of registration of any commercial motor vehicle who is required by any provision of NRS to register with the Federal Motor Carrier Administration and obtain a USDOT number from the United States Department of Transportation must submit the application to the Motor Carrier Division of the Department of Motor Vehicles.
