Except as otherwise provided in NRS 441A.210, a person who has tuberculosis and is confined to a hospital or other institution pursuant to the provisions of this chapter must be treated for tuberculosis and any related condition, and may be treated for any other condition which the health authority determines is detrimental to his or her health and the treatment of which is necessary for the effective control of tuberculosis.
