If a person in this state who has tuberculosis is, in the discretion of the health authority, unable to afford approved treatment for the disease, the health authority may provide medical supplies or direct financial aid, within the limits of the available appropriations and any other resources, to be used in the person’s treatment, to any physician, clinic, dispensary or medical facility. A physician, clinic, dispensary or medical facility that accepts supplies or aid pursuant to this section shall comply with all conditions prescribed by the board relating to the use of the supplies or aid.
