The person who is the subject of a disciplinary hearing under this chapter or who is a witness at that hearing, and who is a person with a communications disability as defined in NRS 50.050, is entitled to the services of an interpreter at public expense in accordance with the provisions of NRS 50.050 to 50.053, inclusive. The interpreter must be appointed by the person who presides at the hearing.
