69-11-101. Definitions. (1) A person who offers to the public to carry persons, property, or messages, excepting only telegraphic or telephonic messages, is a "common carrier" of whatever the person offers to carry.

(2) The "contract of carriage" is a contract for the conveyance of property, persons, or messages from one place to another.
