44-1-401. Qualifications of patrol officers. Patrol officers shall possess the following qualifications:

(1) sound and active physical and mental condition;

(2) good moral character;

(3) residency in Montana;

(4) having passed a satisfactory test in the operation of automobiles; and

(5) citizenship in the United States.
