2-15-1764. State electrical board. (1) There is a state electrical board.
(2) The board consists of five members appointed by the governor with the consent of the senate, who must be residents of this state. Two members of the board shall represent the public. Two members of the board must be licensed electricians. One member must be a master licensed electrician or a licensed electrician who holds an unlimited electrical contractor license.
(3) The members of the board shall serve for a term of 5 years with their terms of office arranged so that one term expires on July 1 of each year.
(4) The board is allocated to the department for administrative purposes only as prescribed in 2-15-121.
