80.100. Trustees — style of ordinances. — The style of ordinances of villages organized under the provisions of this chapter shall be: "Be it ordained by the board of trustees of the village of ______, as follows.".

(1954) Where journal did not show that chairman of board was present or absent at meeting nor that he voted either yea or nay, the yeas and nays were not entered on the journal and ordinance was void even though journal showed other four members voted for it. (1962) Where the journal did not contain an entry showing the yeas and nays in the passage of an ordinance, the ordinance did not exist. Missouri Public Service Company v. Barton County Electric Cooperative (A.), 353 S.W.2d 818.
