Attorney general to advise commission or department. — Upon their request, the state attorney general shall advise the land survey commission or the department of agriculture or the state land surveyor with respect to any legal matter, and shall represent the land survey commission or department of agriculture in any proceeding in any court of the state in which the land survey commission or land survey program shall be a party.
