Writ may issue when party about to be removed from state. — Whenever it shall appear by satisfactory proof that any person is illegally imprisoned or restrained of his liberty, and that there is good reason to believe that he will be carried out of the state, or suffer some irreparable injury, before he can be relieved by a writ of habeas corpus, any court, authorized to issue such writs, may issue a warrant reciting the facts, and directed to any sheriff, coroner or other person, commanding him to take the prisoner and bring him forthwith before such court, to be dealt with according to law.
