490.050. Printed federal acts received in evidence, when. — Copies of any act, law or resolution contained in any such book, now or hereafter deposited in the office of the secretary of state, certified under the hand and official seal of said secretary, shall be received in evidence.

(1956) Where defendant in criminal case on cross-examination first denied and then admitted conviction of crime but stated he remembered very little about it and his attorney's questions tended to elicit answers that he had not been convicted, the record of his conviction was admissible.
