Interurban railroads — powers of company. — Any corporation now existing, or that may hereafter be incorporated, for the purpose of constructing, building, owning, operating and maintaining an interurban electric railroad, shall have and possess the same rights and be subject to the same liabilities and shall be governed by the same powers, laws, limitations, restrictions and proceedings now governing railroads in this chapter for the condemnation of lands for right-of-way, and the fencing thereof.
