376.130. To furnish certificate of deposit, when. — When the corporators have fully complied with the requirements of the preceding sections, and the laws of this state governing the organization of private corporations, and said corporation has deposited with the director of the department of commerce and insurance the amount of notes, bonds and mortgages, or deeds of trust, required by sections 376.010 to 376.670, and shall have filed with the director a certified copy of the certificate of incorporation issued by the secretary of state, it shall be his duty to furnish the company a certificate of such deposit, and his certificate of authority for it to commence the business proposed in its charter, which, with the certified copies of the aforesaid declaration and certificates, on being filed and recorded in the office of the recorder of the county in which the company is to be located, shall be its authority to commence business and issue policies; and such certified copies of the declarations, certificates and certificate of deposit may be used in evidence, for or against said company, with the same effect as the originals.
