141.450. Form of notice. — Such notice shall be substantially as follows:
To the person to whom this notice is addressed: | ||
You are the last known person, according to the records in this office, in whose name land taxes were billed or charged, as to one or more parcels of real estate described in a certain petition bearing cause No. ______ (fill in number of case) filed in the Circuit Court of ______ County, Missouri, at ______ (fill in city), on ______, 20______, wherein a foreclosure of the lien of various delinquent tax bills is sought and a court order asked for the purpose of selling said real estate at a public sale for payment of all delinquent tax bills, together with interest, penalties, attorney's fees and costs. Publication of notice of such foreclosure was commenced on the ______ day of ______, 20______, in ______ (here insert name of newspaper), a daily newspaper published in ______ (here insert name of city), Missouri. | ||
Unless all delinquent taxes be paid upon the parcels of real estate described in said petition and said real estate redeemed prior to the time of the foreclosure sale of such real estate by the sheriff, the owner or any person claiming any right, title or interest in or to, or lien upon, any such parcels of real estate, shall be forever barred and foreclosed of all right, title and interest and equity of redemption in and to such parcels of real estate; provided, however, that any such persons shall have the right to file an answer in said suit on or before the ______ day of ______, 20______, in the office of the Circuit Clerk and a copy thereof with the Delinquent Land Tax Attorney, setting forth in detail the nature and amount of the interest and any defense or objection to the foreclosure. | ||
