To enable the board to carry out its responsibilities under this chapter with respect to licensing and registering, the board shall have: - The power to compel the attendance of witnesses;
- The power to require a licensed appraiser or an applicant for licensure to produce books, appraisal documents, records and other papers;
- The power to administer oaths; and
- The power to take testimony and receive evidence concerning all matters within its jurisdiction.
These powers may be exercised directly by the board in such manner as the board shall determine.
