If unforeseen complications arise prior to or during an abortion facility procedure, the patient shall be transferred to the nearest hospital.
Each abortion facility shall make arrangements with a local ambulance service, duly licensed by the State of Mississippi, for the transport of emergency patients to a hospital and provide documentation to the department of proof of such arrangements.
