Sec. 1e.

(1) If a law of this state requires the court to deny the issuance of a license to a person, or revoke, suspend, or restrict the license of a person, for a violation of a criminal law of this state or a local ordinance that substantially corresponds to a criminal law of this state, the court shall impose the licensing sanctions as provided by law for the violation.

(2) A court shall report a finding made by a jury or the court to the secretary of state as required under section 625 of the Michigan vehicle code, 1949 PA 300, MCL 257.625.

(3) As used in this section, "license" means that term as defined in section 25 of the Michigan vehicle code, 1949 PA 300, MCL 257.25.
