Sec. 487.

Defense of persons charged with crime by law partner of prosecuting attorney—The law partner or partners of any prosecuting attorney who shall be directly or indirectly engaged or interested in the defense of any person or persons charged with any offense, when it is the duty of such prosecuting attorney in his official capacity to prosecute such person or persons, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
