Incorporation of Library by Proprietors; Meeting; Notice.

Sec. 1.

Any 7 or more proprietors of a library may form themselves into a corporation, under such corporate name as they may adopt, for the purpose of enlarging, regulating, and using such library; and for that purpose the district or municipal court of the judicial district or municipality in which the library is located may, on the application of 5 or more of the proprietors, issue a warrant to 1 of them, directing him or her to call a meeting of the proprietors at the time and place expressed in the warrant, for the purpose of forming such corporation, and such meeting shall be called by posting up a notice containing the substance of such warrant, in at least 2 public places in the township where such library is kept, at least 7 days before the time of meeting.
