Sec. 113.

(1) A majority of the board of trustees is a quorum, but an act is not valid unless voted at a meeting of the board by a majority vote of the members elect of the board and a proper record made of the vote. The business which the board may perform shall be conducted at a public meeting of the board held in compliance with Act No. 267 of the Public Acts of 1976. The trustees shall keep a written or printed record of each regular or special meeting of the board, which record shall be available to the public in compliance with Act No. 442 of the Public Acts of 1976, being sections 15.231 to 15.246 of the Michigan Compiled Laws.

(2) The chairperson, secretary and treasurer shall perform those duties as may be provided by law and prescribed by the bylaws and rules of the board of trustees not inconsistent with this act or the laws of this state.
