- Tearing Down, Removing, or Destroying Sign or Notice as Misdemeanor; Penalty.
Sec. 11149.
A person who willfully tears down, removes, or destroys any sign or notice warning of the presence of hazardous waste or marking the boundaries of a hazardous waste treatment, storage, or disposal facility is guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment for not more than 90 days or a fine of not more than $500.00, or both.
