§1056. Powers of attorneys

Attorneys at law duly admitted and eligible to practice in the courts of the State shall have all of the powers of notaries public and be authorized to do all acts which may be done by notaries public with the same effect thereof and have the same territorial jurisdiction.   [PL 1981, c. 456, Pt.
