65-7219. Nothing in act construed to require insurance reimbursement or indemnity for services as a naturopathic doctor.
On and after January 1, 2011, nothing in the naturopathic doctor licensure act or in the provisions of K.S.A. 40-2,100 through 40-2,105, and amendments thereto, or K.S.A. 2020 Supp. 40-2,105a through 40-2,105d, and amendments thereto, shall be construed to require that any individual, group or blanket policy of accident and sickness, medical or surgical expense insurance coverage or any provision of a policy, contract, plan or agreement for medical service issued on or after the effective date of this act, reimburse or indemnify a person licensed under the naturopathic doctor licensure act for services provided as a naturopathic doctor.
