25-803. Compensation of electors.
Every elector of the state for the election of president and vice-president of the United States who shall attend and give his vote for those officers at the time and place appointed by law, shall be entitled to receive the sum of three dollars per day for each day's attendance at such election, and fifteen cents per mile for each mile he shall travel in going to and returning from the place where the electors shall meet, by the most usual route of travel, to be paid out of the state treasury.
