2-131. Payment; apportionment between fairs.
On or before thirty days following the close of the county fair, upon filing a statement certified by the secretary and treasurer of the fair association, setting forth the actual amount of money necessary to pay for the premiums and rewards for that fair as shown by the department judges' books, and that no part of said money was awarded for racing or so-called "free entertainment," the board of county commissioners shall pay the county aid authorized by K.S.A. 2-129: Provided, That where two or more fairs participated in the county aid paid by said county in 1929 or 1930, the same fairs may participate in this aid in proportion to premiums and rewards paid, considering all participating fairs as one in the allowance of the aid authorized in K.S.A. 2-129.
