19-604. Records; office.
It shall be the duty of such county auditor, immediately upon his qualification as hereinbefore provided, to furnish himself with such records as may be necessary, and keep the same in some safe and convenient office, the expense of which shall be borne by the proper county, and to keep his office open for transaction of business as other county offices are kept according to law.
