19-2836. Plans and specifications; payment of cost.
Before any board of county commissioners is authorized to proceed under this act, there shall be filed with such board under the certificate of the engineer for the Kansas department of wildlife, parks and tourism, or the county engineer of such county, maps, plans and specifications showing: (1) The description or outline of the land to be in such project; (2) the portion of such land, if any, owned by the state of Kansas or the department; (3) the portion of the land to be purchased by the county, if any; (4) the probable acre surface area of water to be impounded, estimating such acreage at low-water time; (5) a brief outline of the proposed plan of construction and of estimated cost thereof, including the estimated part of the cost, if any, to be borne by the county, the part of the cost, if any, to be borne by the department and the part of the cost, if any, to be borne by any other state or federal agencies or individuals. The cost of such maps, plans, specifications and preliminary work may be paid for by the county out of its general fund.
