17-1908. Interference with lines; penalty.
Any person who shall unlawfully and willfully cut, break, tap or make connection with any telegraph, telephone line or electric transmission line, wire or cable shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and be punished by a fine not exceeding $500 or by imprisonment in the county jail not exceeding one year, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
