14-6,101. Same; bonds; limitation; election.
Any city which has accepted a gift for hospital purposes as provided in K.S.A. 14-6,100 may issue bonds to supplement the money received by such gift to acquire a site for and construct and equip such hospital or to add to or enlarge and equip any such hospital in course of construction when received or to add to or enlarge any such hospital already constructed and equip the same when received, in an amount not exceeding two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000): Provided, That the question of issuing bonds shall be submitted to the vote of the people at the next regular city primary or regular election or at any election called for that purpose, and no bonds shall be issued until a majority of the qualified electors voting on the proposition shall have declared by their votes in favor of issuing said bonds: Provided further, A proposition for the issuance of bonds hereunder may be voted on at the same election where the acceptance of the gift is voted on.
