Sec. 0.01. Short title. This Act may be cited as the Debate Transcript Act.

Sec. 1. Each house of the General Assembly shall keep a transcript of its debates.

Sec. 2. The Clerk of the House of Representatives and the Secretary of the Senate shall file the transcripts of debates in their respective houses with the Secretary of State who shall maintain them as a public record and make them available for public inspection as provided in "The State Records Act", approved July 6, 1957, as amended.
