67-1507. INSPECTION OF SCHOOLS — CORRESPONDENCE WITH OTHER STATES. It shall be his duty to visit annually such counties of the state as most need his personal attention, and all counties if practicable, for the purpose of inspecting the schools and awakening and guiding public sentiment in relation to the practical interests of education. He shall open such correspondence as may enable him to obtain all necessary information relating to the system of public education in other states.
