33-138 [33-140]. REPORT — HIGH-PERFORMING SCHOOLS AND TEACHERS. In the first week of the regular legislative session in 2022, the state board of education shall present to the legislature a statewide strategy for defining and rewarding high-performing schools and teachers for growth in student achievement. The strategy should consider:

(1) How to incentivize, encourage, and recognize schools and teachers, along with their communities, for dedicated and high-quality work; and

(2) Ways to reduce disincentives to excel in student achievement.
