§459-1.5 Definitions. As used in this chapter:
"Board" means the Hawaii board of optometry.
"Director" means the director of commerce and consumer affairs.
"Surgery" means any procedure in which human tissue is cut, altered, or otherwise infiltrated by mechanical or laser means. [L 1987, c 152, §2; am L 1997, c 335, §1; am L 2018, c 203, §6]
