§183-17 Timber trespass in forest reserves. The cutting, killing, destroying, girdling, chopping, injuring, or otherwise damaging, or the removal of any timber, young tree growth, or products of tree growth on lands in the forest reserves belonging to the State, except as authorized by law or by permission from the department of land and natural resources, is prohibited.
