§159-27 Inspector. Veterinarians and inspectors shall examine and inspect all cattle, sheep, swine, goats, horses, mules, and other equines the inspection of which is hereby provided for, and all carcasses and parts thereof, and all meat or meat products thereof, and the sanitary conditions of all establishments in which the meat or meat products are prepared; veterinarians and inspectors shall refuse to stamp, mark, tag, or label any carcass or any part thereof, or meat products therefrom, prepared in any establishment, until the same shall have actually been inspected and found to be unadulterated; and veterinarians and inspectors shall perform other duties as are provided by this chapter and by the rules adopted by the board and the board, from time to time, shall adopt such rules in accordance with chapter 91 which are necessary for the efficient execution of this chapter, and all inspections and examinations made under this chapter shall be made in a manner as described in the rules adopted by the board not inconsistent with this chapter.
