Except as otherwise provided by law, all taxes, penalties, interest, and other moneys collected or received by the commissioner, the department, or any unit, officer, or employee of the department pursuant to this title or any other revenue or licensing law shall be paid to the Office of the State Treasurer and deposited within 45 days of such collection or receipt.

What fees paid to Office of the State Treasurer.

- Fees charged by the State Board of Barbers must be forwarded to the fiscal division (now Office of the State Treasurer) and such fees may not be retained by the Office of Secretary of State as reimbursement of expenses of that office. 1969 Op. Att'y Gen. No. 69-13.

Fees collected pursuant to establishment of the State Board of Cosmetology must be remitted to the fiscal division (now Office of the State Treasurer) and such fees may not be retained by the Office of Secretary of State as reimbursement of expenses of that office. 1969 Op. Att'y Gen. No. 69-13.

Fees collected pursuant to establishment of Composite State Board of Medical Examiners (now Georgia Composite Medical Board) must be forwarded by the joint secretary to the fiscal division (now Office of the State Treasurer) and may not be retained by the Office of Secretary of State as reimbursement of expenses of that office. 1969 Op. Fees collected pursuant to establishment of the Georgia Real Estate Commission must be transmitted by the joint secretary of the state examining boards to the fiscal division (now Office of the State Treasurer) and such fees may not be retained by the Office of Secretary of State as reimbursement of expenses of that office. 1969 Op. Fees collected for the Georgia Board of Nursing must be forwarded to the fiscal division (now Office of the State Treasurer) and may not be retained by the Office of Secretary of State as reimbursements of expenses of that office. 1969 Op. Att'y Gen. No. 69-13.
