Formation of Multijurisdictional and Regional 9-1-1 Systems

Nothing in this part shall be construed to prohibit or discourage the formation of multijurisdictional or regional 9-1-1 systems; and any system established pursuant to this part may include the jurisdiction, or any portion thereof, of more than one public agency.

The 2005 amendment, effective July 1, 2005, substituted "9-1-1" for "'911'" in this Code section.

The 2006 amendment, effective April 14, 2006, part of an Act to revise, modernize, and correct the Code, substituted "9-1-1" for "911" in this Code section.
