- (For Effective Date, See note.) Establishing Standards for Facilities and Equipment; Monitoring, Investigation, and Enforcement Actions
- The board shall work cooperatively with licensed veterinarians to establish standards for veterinary facilities and equipment and shall promulgate rules for same.
- The board shall have the authority to establish a method to monitor veterinary facilities, conduct investigations and hold proceedings related to alleged violations, and take necessary enforcement action against the license of a veterinarian or licensed veterinary technicians for violations of rules promulgated under subsection (a) of this Code section.

The 2018 amendment, effective July 1, 2018, inserted "or licensed veterinary technicians" in the middle of subsection (b).
