Trauma Scene Waste Management Practitioner
- (Effective January 1, 2021) Registration Required for Cleanup; Penalty
- As used in this Code section, the term "person" means: an individual; any corporate entity or form authorized by law, including any of its subsidiaries or affiliates; or any officer, director, board member, or employee of any corporate entity or form authorized by law.
- No person shall perform, offer to perform, or engage in the cleanup of a trauma scene or the removal or remediation of regulated biomedical waste from any trauma scene unless such person is registered in accordance with this chapter or is an employee or independent contractor of such person registered in accordance with this chapter.
- Any person that violates this Code section shall be subject to a civil fine not to exceed $5,000.00 and punitive action by the Secretary of State, up to and including revocation of registration.
