Nothing in this chapter shall require the commission to issue a license to an applicant who has been convicted of a violation of this chapter.

OPINIONS OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL

Permissible basis for refusing examination due to "low moral character."

- State Structural Pest Control Commission may not refuse to examine an applicant because of "low moral character" unless the applicant has been convicted of a crime involving moral turpitude or a violation of Ga. L. 1955, p. 564, § 21 (see now O.C.G.A. § 43-45-25). 1969 Op. Att'y Gen. No. 69-440.
