  1. This chapter shall not apply to any person doing work on his own property or to any regular employee of any person, firm, or corporation doing work on the property of such person, firm, or corporation under the direct supervision of the person who owns or has charge of the property on which the work is being done; provided, however, that nothing contained in this chapter shall authorize any person to endanger the public health or safety through the use of any pesticide or other substance for the purpose of structural pest control or through the violation of any other state or federal law or regulation.
  2. This chapter shall not apply to agencies of the federal, state, county, or municipal governments or to agents thereof in the performance of official duties.

Scope of exemption.

- Exemption provided for in this section extends to any situation in which a person, firm, or corporation is doing structural pest control or related work on property owned by such person, firm, or corporation. 1968 Op. Att'y Gen. No. 68-227.
