- Renewal; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Qualification
- Every person licensed by the board to practice dental hygiene shall register biennially on the renewal date set by the executive director and shall pay to the executive director a registration fee which shall be set by the board. The board shall provide for penalty fees for late registration.
- The failure to renew a license by the end of an established penalty period shall have the same effect as a revocation of said license, subject to reinstatement only in the discretion of the board. The board may restore and reissue a license to practice dental hygiene pursuant to this chapter under any terms or conditions that it may deem appropriate.
- After 1988, as a prerequisite for license renewal, dental hygienists shall furnish satisfactory evidence of current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, as may be defined by rule or regulation of the board.
