JUDICIAL DECISIONS

Jury instructions.

- Trial court's omission of words from a jury instruction to the effect that there was a violation of O.C.G.A. § 40-6-75 was not error because the trial court's charge, which read verbatim from the statute and then charged the jury on negligence per se, substantially covered the principles contained in the construction worker's request to charge. Gates v. Navy, 274 Ga. App. 180, 617 S.E.2d 163 (2005).
